birthday: april thirteenth.
hair color: dark brown.
eye color: hazel.
height/weight: 5"3 ; 115 lbs.
special features: has a birthmark that extends from her left shoulder to her spine.
clothes: I usually dress very casually. I like to stay with the city style - Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Forever 21... I don't like Aeropostale, though. My favorite color is white, so you'll usually see me dressed in some kind of white. I don't have my ears pierced because Papa always said, "putting unnecessary holes in your body is a waste of time." I would like my nose pierced, and since I am away from my home, I might as well live like the average American!
likes: colors, painting, the city, running, music, chocolate fudge, shoes, Broadway.
dislikes: peanut butter fudge, math, reading, sleeping, obnoxious people, racists, prejudice, discrimination.
talents: creativity, art.
hopes: marriage, family, children, art teacher.
fears: returning to Italy, American government, death.
career: artist
personality: I'm very quiet. People mistake me for being shy, but I'm not shy unless you get to know me. One you get to know me, I'm still pretty quiet, but I guess I've always been quiet. Ever since moving away from Italy, I feel like a completely different lady. I've made a lot of American friends, I've smiled a whole lot more, and I can finally make my own decisions and state my own opinions. I'm loving it! I guess I'm also pretty cheery, too. I never allow myself to get down on things.
mother: Marzia Vaccara, 26, deceased.
father: Alfonso Vaccara, 39, artist, living.
siblings: Ciro Vaccara, 23, college, living.
other family members: N/A
background: I grew up in Verona, Italy with my Papa and my brother. My mother died very shortly after I was born due to leukemia. I don't remember anything about her, but I keep a picture of her with me at all times. Ciro told me things about her - that she was beautiful, that she had freckles, that her and Papa had been undeniably in love. I wanted to experience that love.
When I graduated from school and I turned eighteen, a boy approached me at the beach and we made friends. I thought of him as my friend, nothing more, nothing less. We got to talking a lot more, and he'd walk me to my art studio every day. Eventually, he tried to kiss me, but I didn't let him. Finally, he proposed to me, and Papa told me that it was good for me. It wasn't until Papa discovered he was from the clan of Verscotti's. The Vacarra's and the Verscotti's were never friends, and nobody would ever tell me why. But anyway, I gave Clemente his ring back, and Papa sent me to America with my art supplies and money. Ciro would've gone with me, but he had schooling to complete, and I wanted to be independent. Once I arrived to America, with my Italian passport and my art supplies and my money, I immediately headed for my dream home - New York City.
I've sold about twenty of my paintings, and all together I've gotten about $1,674 for my paintings. I've been thinking of doing sculpture too, but my apartment is only big enough for I and my art supplies. My life has been just grand so far! I wish my mother would be around to see my accomplishments, though. I still keep in touch with Papa and Ciro, but I have not seen them in about two years.
